About 5000 youths yesterday marched in support of the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari and Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Alhaji Abdullahi D. Galadima, in the 2019 elections.
The youths, who wore T-shirts that spotted pictures of Buhari and the Kuje chairman and also carried banners, marched from Tipper Garage to the chairman’s private residence at Pasali in the area.
Addressing newsmen, leader of the youth, Barrister Suleiman Lamorde, said he led the 5000 youths to trek in support of the re-election of Buhari and the incumbent chairman of the council because they were impressed with the performance of Buhari and Galadima.
“And the youth have also resolved to purchase nomination/expression of interest form for the Kuje chairman to recontest in the 2019 area council election God willing,” he said.
The council chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Galadima, while addressing the youths said he was overwhelmed with the support given to him and Buhari ahead of the 2019 elections.
