The FCT coordinator of Presidential Support Committee for Buhari (PSCB) 2019, Alhaji Muhammad Musa Shettima, has boasted that President Muhammadu Buhari will garner block votes in the territory come the 2019 presidential election.

Shettima, while speaking with newsmen during the All Progressives Congress (APC) direct presidential primaries in Abaji on Friday, said people of the FCT have already vowed to come out in their numbers to vote for Buhari.

He said the people of the territory had identified infrastructural development; roads, railway, economic stability and fight against corruption as achievements of the APC-led administration under Buhari.

He said the FCT had always been the stronghold of Buhari since 2003, adding that Buhari had never lost election in FCT despite alleged rigging by the then ruling PDP. He assured  that the APC across the six area councils would deliver their votes to him.

The coordinator noted that the direct presidential primaries adopted by the National Working Committee of the APC was a clear indication that democracy had come to stay in Nigeria.
