A Group of Youth, students and entrepreneurs under the auspices of YES Atiku 2019 Movement on Sunday vowed to mobilize 10 million votes for the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Lagos State Deputy Coordinator l, Babatunde Idowu and Publicity Secretary, Godwin A. Akangbe made the pledge during a rally to flag off the campaign for Atiku.
The rally held at the campaign office of the the PDP governorship candidate, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, attracted thousands of party members.
The group also vowed to work towards freeing the state from “vested interest” holding the state to the jugular for over two decades.
The Deputy coordinator who spoke with newsmen at the rally, said the movement is to take back Nigeria from “failure, underdevelopment, poverty, ineptitude, insecurity, unpresidented corruption, terrorism, nepotism, herdsmen killings and a whole lot.
“The movement is structured in such a way that a chain reaction of social connectivity is set up to make people feel at home, connect with the movement, align with the revolution.”
He expressed confidence that Nigeria would work again if the former Vice President wins the 2019 election.
