The National Coordinator/Chief Executive Officer, African Union Development Agency- New Partnership for Africa’s Development/African Peer Review Mechanism (AUDA-NEPAD/APRM), Nigeria, Princess Gloria Akobundu, has said 2019 was unique but 2020 would be better towards realising their mandates.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Media Assistant to NC/CEO, AUDA-NEPAD/APRM Nigeria, Mr. Abolade Ogundimu.

According to him, Mrs. Akobundu’s message borne out of reflection on the year ended 2019 and what she envisioned for the year 2020 in pursuance of her blueprint.

She listed the blueprint as “Re-positioning, Re-aligning, Re-branding, and Re-launching (4R)” which she had been steadily pursuing since 2016.

“As an Agency that was established to ensure good governance and national development, we started the year 2019 by partnering and engaging various stakeholders across the country to ensure that the last General Elections and other elections were held successfully,” the statement stressed.
