The second-tier league of the Nigeria Women Football League, the Championship 2021/2022 season, will kick off at the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, from Monday, June 13, to June 19, 2022.

The official Pre-Match Meeting for the 2021/2022 Championship League season has been scheduled to be held on Sunday, June 12, at the Conference Hall of the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, at 4pm.

The NWFL Championship League will be competed for by a total of 11 clubs from across the country, divided into two groups; A and B.

The Group A teams are: Ibom Angels of Uyo, Royaltoms International FC of Lagos, Dream Stars Ladies of Lagos, Oasis FC also of Lagos and Honey Badgers FC.

Group B on the other handhas Crystal Stars FC of Bayelsa, Heartland Queens FC of Owerri, Kwara Ladies FC of Ilorin, Beautiful Tours Angels FC of Abuja, Dannaz Ladies FC of Lagos and Moje Queens FC of Kwara.

The first game of the season, but incidentally Match number 3 because of the kick-off time, will be played in Group B between Crystal Stars FC versus Beautiful Tours Angels FC by 10am at the Training Pitch of the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode.
