The Local Organising Committee of the 2021 Kano State chapter of the Sports Writers Association (SWAN) Inter Media football Cup competition is scheduled to kickoff on Friday, November 26.

There will be a march past by all the participating media houses on the opening day of the competition.

On Friday, November 5, the LOC and the Executive committee members of the sports writers in Kano unanimously approved the date for the commencement of the games.

The EXCO and the Local Organising Committee for the games agreed to conduct the draws for the registered media houses that will compete and aim for glory in the competition.

The LOC dropped the hint that in the near future other sporting events like table tennis, badminton would be featured at the annual event.

The organising committee, therefore, called on the representatives of the participating media houses to be punctual at the draws which will be held this morning at the Kano State Sport Commission (KSSC), Club House.

13 media organizations set to tussle for the coveted trophy include Aminci Radio, ARTV, BUK FM, Correspondent Chapel, Express Radio , Freedom Radio,  Guarantee Radio , Information, Jalla Radio, Radio  Kano, Rahma Radio,  Pyramid  Radio as well as Tambari TV.
