It is a fact that the 2023 presidential election is around the corner, with campaigns where different political tactics are displayed going on.

This, therefore, is to advise compatriots on what they should do during campaigns and electioneering.

We all know that Nigeria is bogged down by insecurity, bigotry, economic malaise, political uncertainty, among others. To tackle them, we have to think outside the box.

Citizens are usually used and dumped by politicians seeking elective office. We should always be conscious of our family background and protect our integrity.

The few thousand naira that they usually dole out to people when elections are near cannot cater for our needs for four years.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) should strive to be transparent and honest in conducting the elections. They should not allow petty cash to blindfold them.
