2023: Atiku Youth wing Promises door to door campaign in FCT

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Youth Wing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign, Atiku Youth Wing, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has promised to take the campaigns out.

Speaking at the inauguration of the of the Area Council Executives in Abuja at the weekend, Hon Ezekiel Dalhatu, the DG Atiku-Okowa Campaign Council in the FCT said the activities of the youth wing was strategic and very important because “the youths are the turbine, transformer, engine room of the party. As youths you determine who wins any election, if any party minus the youths, that party minus the votes that will take it to victory.”

He said they should be happy to be part of a political party that is the most organized in Africa and having a wing under it is an honor, “because we are part of history that is about to be made in our country.”

Dalhatu disclosed that PDP had commissioned the Peoples Democratic Institute (PDI), adding that “For a political party to come up with an institute, that is how far PDP has gone to institutionalize democracy in Nigeria, so for a party that has this kind of ideology, the youths will have no reason but to align with the party.

On his part, the Team leader of the group, Idris Kalgo Ibrahim, said Nigerians were looking forward to real change, “not the fake change in 2015,” the change for a better Nigeria, for everyone not the change for a few people.

Ibrahim said Atiku is a man of his words, “he has promised 40 percent in his administration once he wins the election.

“We have to be good Ambassadors, be law abiding, no violence, but let us go out with our PVC, enough is enough. We should take our campaign from door to door, house to House, polling unit to polling Unit to make sure that you campaign to voters to come out and vote Atiku Abubakar,” he said.
