2023 elections: It’s time to choose the right leaders

Nigeria has suffered a lot, economically, politically, educationally and socially. I believe that Nigeria can change for the better.

An election is a legal process through which people elect a person to represent them in a particular office.

The 2023 election is not about zoning. It is about who will take Nigeria to the promised land. Thus, whoever thinks it is the time of his zone to produce a president is wrong. Zoning is an avenue to creating religious violence, cultural and political crises. It can also increase discrimination and disunity.

We Nigerians need to put our hands on deck and work toward the development of this country. We should set aside the issues of religious bigotry, cultural differences and ethnicity.

In today’s Nigeria, whoever thinks the winner of the 2023 presidential election should come from his/her zone without considering the candidate’s ability and capacity to rule Nigeria as a multicultural country deserves no attention from Nigerians.

Dear fellow Nigerians, we have no better place  than Nigeria. I am, therefore, calling on Nigerians to open our eyes, ears, and our brains and do the right thing.
