A group, Unity House Foundation (UHF), has called on the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, to declare for the office of president of Nigeria in the 2023 election.
Members of UHF in large number converged on Calabar, capital of Cross River State, where they marched round the major streets with placards calling for his declaration.
National chairman of the group, Chima Onuoha, said Amaechi being a former governor of Rivers State, Speaker of the state assembly and now a minister for eight years, was eminently qualified to aspire for the 2023 presidential race.
“We are here in Calabar to join voices with our members here and other youths all over the country to call on the Minister of Transportation to declare his aspiration to run for president next year.
