A former Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Benue State Governor, Terver Akase, has pledged not to discriminate against any section of the state if elected as governor in the 2023 Benue governorship election.

Akase made this known during the commissioning of his campaign office and unveiling of his manifesto/website in Makurdi.

“If given the mandate to lead the state in 2023, I will be your governor, no matter where you come from; no matter which language you speak, which religion you belong to, or which political party you support. 

“God did not make a mistake when He brought us together as Tiv, Idoma, Igede, Etulo, Jukun and several other ethnic groups to make up a state called Benue. This state has given us so much. It is therefore incumbent on us to give our best to the state,” he said.

Akase, who is a member of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), expressed confidence that with God on his side and with the peoples’ s Democratic Party (PDP), expressed confidence that with God on his side and with the peoples’ support, he would succeed.
