The Kwara State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has finally zoned its gubernatorial ticket to the northern district in the state ending months of speculation.

Publicity Secretary of the party Tunde Asholu, who confirmed the development to Daily Trust on Monday, listed justice, fairness and equity as the factors responsible for the party’s decision.

Ashaolu said the development followed a series of ‘exhaustive sessions with stakeholders of the party from the three senatorial districts’ at the weekend.
