A group, World Igbo Submit (WIS) has called on Nigerians from other geopolitical zones to support the agitations for Nigerian President of Igbo extraction.
WIS made the call in a communiqué issued after its meeting held on 18th and 19th December 2020 in Abia State.
The group urged Igbo politicians to ensure that their respective political parties produce the presidential candidate of Igbo extraction in 2023 general elections.
The group, which is made up of political class, businessmen and women and Igbo intellectuals across the globe urged the Igbo nation to remain politically active and conscious to ensure that its about 26 million registered voting strength are effectively mobilised to strengthen the capacity of the zone to negotiate and ultimately win the presidency.
