A renowned security expert and Egba High Chief, Otunba Adejare Adegbenro, says the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, “is best placed as Nigeria’s next president judging by his track record of performance in the private and public service.”

Adegbenro also endorsed the second term bid of the Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, saying monumental projects executed by his administration have transformed the state in the last three years.

The business tycoon in a statement said that Tinubu has demonstrated commitment to a better Nigeria than any other candidates.

He said “Out of the three frontline candidates, only Asiwaju Tinubu and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s Atiku Abubakar, are well exposed for the presidential position.

“However, Asiwaju has a track record of performance as a substantive governor of Lagos State between 1999 and 2007.

“He held his own, laid the foundation for modern Lagos we are enjoying today. I have no doubt about his capabilities to replicate it at the national level. Lagos is still the safest, despite its population of about 25 million people. Some are peddling falsehoods that he’s sick, can a sick person, move around the way he does. Everyday he is working. In fact, his schedule is busier than some incumbent governors. Only God giveth and taketh.”

On Governor Abiodun’s second term bid, he said that the governor of Ogun state has transformed the state with monumental projects that will outlive him.

“Dapo Abiodun has done well for my state. I’m a blunt person and I’m very economical with commendations, but whatever I say about the Governor Abiodun-led administration is known to the good people of the state.

“There’s no vacancy in the governor’s office. He’s a performing governor. As close as I am to him, it’s hard to see him and it’s better to see a working governor than the one who only talks and junkets around the world.”
