Posters of National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, have flooded strategic parts of the nation’s capital, Abuja.
The posters of Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, were sighted on Sunday indicating that he would contest the 2023 presidential election.
They were pasted on electric poles, traffic light areas, among others in the Wuse 2 and Garki areas, APC National Secretariat and opposite the Ministry of Justice in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Some of the posters carried inscriptions such as; ‘Happy Democracy Day’, and ‘Tinubu Advocates Group 2023.’
Many support groups have sprang up rooting for Tinubu ahead of the 2023 poll.
A group called SWAGA 2023, had been moving from one state to another in the South-West, drumming support for Tinubu, even though he is yet to officially declare his intention to run.
Similarly, the Tinubu Campaign office was established at Maitama in Abuja, where all activities of his Support Groups bordering on campaigns would be coordinated.
