The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State for the 2023 election, Alhaji Shuiab Abdullahi, has said the party would end the hardships and economic woes the APC-led government at the states and the federal levels had foisted on Nigerians.
Yaman stated this on Saturday at the party’s secretariat in Ilorin during the presentation of his certificate of return and unveiling of his running mate, Gbenga Makanjuola, by the state chairman of the party, Hon Babatunde Mohammed.

The ceremony also featured the presentation of certificates of return to all the party’s House of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senatorial candidates.
The PDP gubernatorial candidate who said the function was the first official one he had attended since the election at the party secretariat, called on members to unite and root out the APC across the states as well as at the federal level in 2023.
“In 2023, the PDP umbrella will cover Kwara and Nigeria as a whole from the ruining brutality and economic woes that the APC had foisted on Nigerians,” he said.
In his acceptance speech, the deputy governorship candidate, Makanjuola, described his nomination as the act of God.
