Twenty one first-term governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are currently holding a crucial meeting in Birnin kebbi, the Kebbi State capital.
Though details of the meeting are not yet known, an insider at the Kebbi Government House, venue of the meeting, said it is not unconnected with the worsening security situation in their states, the fallout of the APC primaries and the 2027 general elections.
It was gathered that the meeting was convened at the insistence of Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State.
The attendees include the governors of Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina, Kaduna, Kano, Jigawa, Niger, and Plateau.
