Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna( Sardaunan Gombe) has joined the governorship race in Gombe State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The submission was duly made at both the Ward and Local Government levels, in line with the party’s laid-down procedures.

Speaking at the party state secretariat in Gombe, on Wednesday,  Gwamna emphasized that his decision was driven by a “New Vision for Continuity and Sustainability.”

This vision, according to him, is anchored on consolidating existing achievements, while introducing innovative policies and programmes that would ensure long-term development, inclusive growth, and improved welfare for all citizens.

He reaffirmed his commitment to good governance, transparency, and people-oriented leadership, noting that his administration, by the grace of God, would prioritise peace, unity, economic growth and development, youth and women empowerment, as well as sustainable infrastructural advancement.

Gwamna called on party faithful, supporters, and the general public to rally behind his vision as the journey towards a more prosperous and sustainable future begins.

Responding, Mr Mohammed Dantata Ndus, the Gombe State Chairman of APC wished Dr. Gwamna well in his ambition while emphasising the need for unity amongst members towards ensuring victory for the party from top to bottom in the forthcoming general elections.
