Ahead of the 2027 general elections, a Presidential hopeful on the platform of the African Democratic Congress, ADC Mohammed Hayatu-Deen has inaugurated his 36 states coordinators.

The coordinators are expected to engage with stakeholders across the country and actively supports the ongoing membership registration drive of the African Democratic Congress.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hayatu-Deen said the move signalled a transition to full-scale grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The coordinators, drawn from the six geopolitical zones, are expected to lead state-level organisation, expand the campaign’s footprint, and drive citizen engagement across communities.

Hayatu-Deen further described the development as a critical milestone in building a credible, nationwide alternative for Nigerians.

“What we are building is not just a campaign, it is a national movement anchored on competence, integrity, and results,” Hayatu-Deen said.

“As we continue to engage stakeholders across the country and support the ADC registration drive, this inauguration marks a decisive step in taking our message to every state, every community, and every Nigerian.”

He noted that the campaign’s growing traction reflects a rising demand among Nigerians for leadership that delivers.

“There is a clear mood across the country. Nigerians are looking for leadership that understands their struggles and is prepared to act. Our responsibility is to meet that expectation with seriousness, clarity, and a plan.”

Hayatu-Deen urged the newly appointed coordinators to remain focused on the issues that matter most to citizens.

In his remarks, the National Coordinator, Comrade Usman Adamu Song, former General Secretary of NUPENG, said the inauguration represents a shift from vision to structured national mobilisation.

Song charged the coordinators to prioritise engagement, listening, and trust-building in their respective states.
