Hayatu Mamman, a resident of Jahun local government area of Jigawa state, has been murdered by unknown persons Kano Chronicle gathered.

The late Mamman, 22, was reported to have been killed last Friday while he was asleep in his room at around.

The assassins allegedly gained access into his room, slit his throat and left him in pool of his blood.

Kano Chronicle learnt that the father and a brother of the deceased have been arrested by the police for attempting to bury the remains of late Mamman without reporting the incident to the police.

Our reporter gathered that after the corpse of the deceased was taken to Jahun General Hospital for examination, a knife and some clothes were recovered in the room of the deceased.

Police spokesperson of Jigawa police command, SP Abdul Jinjiri, confirmed the incident saying, the police had arrested two suspects in connection to the murder.
