Mr Inyangete who made the remark during a press conference organized by the Nigeria Refinance Company (NMRC) in conjunction with African Union for Housing Finance (AUFH), in Abuja said that millions of Africans live in substandard houses.
“African countries like Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya and South Africa need 25 million affordable housing”, he said.
But he said too high price of housing was the major challenge for providing access to affordable housing in Africa.
