Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested 25 suspected criminals during the month of January.

The State Commissioner of Police, Aina Adesola, disclosed that the suspects were apprehended between January 8 and 20, 2026.

He stated that the suspects were arrested for various offences, including armed robbery, murder, cultism, and rape. Breaking down the figures, the CP noted that 11 suspects were arrested for murder, 13 for cultism, and one for rape, bringing the total to 25.

According to him, the police also recovered 11 firearms, 80 rounds of ammunition and cartridges, and one vehicle.
