About 250 exhibitors in different sectors, including fashion and agriculture, are taking part in the 3rd Abuja SMEs Expo which kicked off yesterday.

The acting managing director of the Abuja Enterprise Agency, Mallam Shehu Abdulkadir, said the three day-event was aimed at creating market access to entrepreneurs within the Federal Capital Territory FCT.

Abdulkadir said various financial and support regulatory agencies were on ground to see how to partner with the entrepreneurs and counsel them on better output that would meet global standards. 

Also speaking, the director general of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN), Olawale Fasanya, said the agency would continue to provide capacity building as well as access to funds on single interest to the qualified applicants.
