The Bigi Carbonated Soft Drink (CSD) brand of Rite Foods has rewarded the winner of its ‘Watch & Win’ promo, Amarachi Chukwuma, with a brand-new car.

Other consolation prizes comprising laptop computers, Bigi products, blenders, printers, and several prizes were given to other participants after the promo which lasted for 12 weeks.

The grand prize was presented to 26-year-old Amarachi, a lawyer, at the Silverbird Cinema, in Lagos.

Chukwuma, 26, from Anambra State, received the key to the car with over one hundred packs of Bigi drinks, and other Bigi prizes.

The promo started in December 2021 for movie and cinema lovers in Silverbird Cinemas in Lagos and Abuja.

On the initiative, Rite Foods’ Brand Manager, Boluwatife Adedugbe, stated that through the promo, the firm made movie viewing worthwhile.

Receiving the car keys, Amarachi said though she was not an ardent movie viewer but visited the cinema in February this year to watch a movie produced by her friend.

She said while purchasing the ticket, she was told to pick a raffle to qualify for the ongoing promo, disclosing that she never knew such a promo was ongoing.

Chukwuma said as a young lawyer working on Victoria Island and living on Lekki-Ajah, the brand-new vehicle would change her status.

“I was excited when I was told I won the prize, as most people were sceptical about it, and today, I am very happy that the Bigi brand lived up to its commitment,” she said.
