A 27-year-old herbalist, Olalekan Akande who beheaded his step-father in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital on Tuesday revealed that heads of some of his victims were sold for as low as N2,000.
Akande made the revelation when the men of the Southwest Security Network, codenamed Operation Amotekun, paraded him at their Dandaru, Mokola Ibadan office on Tuesday.
He said he killed his step-father because one of his clients needed a head for rituals. He added that he was paid N20,000 for beheading his step-father.

Parading the suspected ritualists at the Amotekun headquarters, the Deputy Commandant of corps in the state, Mr. Akinro Kazeem said the suspects were arrested following intelligence reports from members of the public.
Akinro who gave the names of the suspects as; Ismail Muraina, Abdul Rasheed Olanrewaju, Olalekan Akande explained that Muraina confessed that he charmed the victim because he saw him as unstable.
He noted that the suspects confessed that they sell human heads based on the size and amount available in the hand of their customers.
