272 Kwara pilgrims return from hajj
Two hundred and seventy-two (272) pilgrims who performed this year’s hajj in Saudi Arabia from Kwara State have returned home….
Two hundred and seventy-two (272) pilgrims who performed this year’s hajj in Saudi Arabia from Kwara State have returned home.
They were airlifted by Air Peace and departed Jeddah International Airport around 8:30 pm on Tuesday.
The pilgrims arrived at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos at midnight Tuesday before they were subsequently airlifted from Lagos to Ilorin, Kwara State capital on Wednesday.
Amongst the dignitaries who arrived with other pilgrims were the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Mohammed Basheer Solih, former Secretary to the State Government, Prof Mamman Jibril and the zonal coordinator, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) for Kwara, Ondo and Ekiti states, Alh Jibir Fijabi among others.

Some of the pilgrims thanked God for granting them a successful hajj operation and for ensuring their safe return to Nigeria.
They expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the members of the state pilgrim’s board and government’s delegation while in the holy land.
