The grand finale of the competition which is ongoing at state levels through selection of works will take place at the Yar’adua Centre come October 21, 2009.According to the NGA, “Candidates are at liberty to choose any of the subthemes to produce their works. The competition is also targeted at achieving rapid economic development in the country through Visual Art Subsector as envisioned in the New Partnership for African Development (NEPAD) and the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
