Three burglary suspects, Olayinka Michael, Jamiu Abdulraman and Daniel John, ‘have been arrested for allegedly breaking into Cussons manufacturing company, in the Ikotun area of Lagos.
The suspects were said to have arrived at the factory around 2am on November 2 and gained entry into the premises by scaling the fence.
After they entered the compound, they pounced on the security men, tired their hands and legs before breaking into the company’s warehouse.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Abiodun Alabi, who confirmed their arrests, said the suspects were tracked through credible information.

Alabi stated that the officers got information that some burglars were sighted at the premises of a manufacturing company in the Ikotun area of the state.
He said the robbers looted and were evacuating the company’s products.
“Upon receipt of the information, police operatives swiftly mobilised to the scene. On sighting them, the robbers, who were in their numbers, fled.
“The operatives embarked on investigation that led to the arrest of three of the suspects, namely Olayinka Michael, 35, Jamiu Abdulraman, 27, and Daniel John, 28.
“Items recovered at the scene of crime included one iron cutter, three padlocks, seven cartons of Cussons baby products, damaged padlocks and ropes.
An investigation is ongoing to arrest other fleeing gang members and possibly recover the stolen items.
“Suspects will be charged to court at the completion of investigation,” he added.
