Three persons were killed and 20 others injured in a road accident involving two buses and a tanker at Gada-Biyu village on the Abuja-Lokoja road.

A witness said one of the buses was coming from the Lokoja axis which lost control and rammed into the stationary tanker.

He said the second bus also rammed into the tanker which led to the death of three persons on the spot.

When contacted, the FCT Sector Commander of the FRSC, Samuel Ogar Ochi, confirmed the accident, which he attributed to speeding.

He said the three corpses had been deposited at the Abaji General Hospital, while the 20 injured victims, comprising 16 females and four males, were receiving treatment at the same hospital.
