Three persons have been killed and one other sustained injuries in an auto crash involving a Volkswagen Golf and a trailer on the East-West road in Ughelli North LGA of Delta State.
Confirming the incident, the Unit Commander of FRSC in Ughelli, Ikechukwu Ken, said they acted after a distress call and were able to rescue one of the victims.
The police spokesman in the state, DSP Bright Edafe, could not be reached for comment on the accident.
