The Lagos State Police Command on Monday arraigned three men before the Ogba Magistrate’s Court for stealing, conspiracy and assault on one Mr. Lateef.
The trio, Toheed Akindele, Irawo Rasheed and Balogun, were arraigned before Magistrate Mr. J.A. Adeguyi on a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy, stealing & assault.
Police Prosecutor, Sergeant Awase Godwin, told the court that the accused committed the offence on October 29, 2017 at about 12:00 pm in Lagos.
The prosecutor further said the offence contravened section 285 of the criminal code, vol.44, Law of Lagos State, 2011.
However the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against them.
The Magistrate, Mr. Adeguyi granted the accused a bail of N10,000 each with one surety each who must provide tax letter with verifiable address.
He then adjourned the case till November 24, for the prosecutor to provide proof of evidence.
