The police in Ekiti State have arraigned three men, Moses Uker (35), Monday Gambo (32) and Daniel Zakariya (23), on charges of theft in a magistrates’ court in Ado-Ekiti.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court that on November 19, 2025, the defendants stole 500 chickens valued at N9m from one Falade Solomon’s property contrary to Sections 421 and 302(1)(a) of the Criminal Law of Ekiti State 2021.
Barrister Adunni Olanipekun, counsel for the defendants, requested the court to admit his clients to bail.
The Magistrate, Mr. Abayomi Adeosun, granted them a bail of N100,000 with two sureties in the same amount and adjourned to January 30, 2026.
