Three alleged impostors of President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Aisha, were on Monday remanded by a Federal High Court in Lagos.

The accused persons are Julius Anyawu, aka Musa Mohammed, 48; Kenneth Ezeonu aka Abdul Karim, 45; and George Agu aka Dr Lina Norman, 48.

The trio, who had no legal representation, pleaded not guilty to the 16-count charge read to them.

After their pleas, the prosecutor, Benson Asogwa, urged the court to remand them in prison and fix a date for trial.

Justice Babs Kiewumi consequently adjourned the case until Jan.18 for trial and ordered that the accused be remanded in prison.
