Three students from an Islamic school in Kano have appeared before a Magistrate Court in Kano for allegedly killing their teacher and removing some of his body parts.

Prosecuting Counsel, Barrister Maryam Halilu Dantiye, arraigned the suspects on charges of criminal conspiracy, possession of a weapon, and culpable homicide.

The prosecutor said the defendants, Inuwa Muhammad, Abba Rabi’u, and Yahaya Rabi’u, allegedly conspired to label their teacher, Malam Isyaku, a kidnapper.

He said they deceived him, used a local gun, and took him to a nearby bush where they removed one of his eyes and his genital organs.

The court ordered their remand in a correctional centre until October 14 for the continuation of the case.
