The suspects – Augustine Ojanuware, Precious Urhobowin (27), and Julius Okpako (32), are said to be members of a kidnapping and robbery syndicate terrorizing Ughelli, Warri, Agbarho, Sapele and environs.
The command’s spokesperson, Edafe Bright, said the suspects were arrested following an investigation into a case of kidnapping reported at Isiokolo Police Station, where Augustine Ojanuware was initially arrested.
He said upon further investigation, the suspect confessed that he is a member of a kidnapping and armed robbery syndicate terrorizing Ughelli, Warri, Agbarho, Sapele and environs.
He said the suspect led the police to the Osubi area of Warri and Ughelli town, where Precious Urhobowin and Julius Okpako were arrested through the owner of a POS machine used in collecting ransom.

According to him, preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were responsible for the kidnap of a pharmacist and released the victim after five days upon payment of an undisclosed sum of money.
