30 year old man dies in pool of water
A 30-year-old man identified as Rabiu Sani has reportedly died after falling into a pool of water in Kano.
The incident took place at Kunture town inUngogo Local Government Area of the state.
Spokesperson of the state Fire Service, Saminu Yusif Abdullahi, said the command’s control room received an emergency call from a police officer, Silas Munkhaila, who reported the incident.
He said, “The emergency rescue team from the state headquarters gathered at the scene of the incident. On their arrival, they found a 30-year-old man, Rabiu Sani, who fell into the puddle while he was fetching water.
“Immediately, our rescue team pulled out the victim unconscious but was later confirmed dead.”
He said his body was handed over to the Ward Head of Kunture town, Uba Abdulkadir.
