Senator representing Northern Senatorial District of the state, Professor Ben Ayade, who disclosed this at a ceremony in Ogoja, said the beneficiaries were selected from five local government areas of Obanlikwu, Ogoja, Obudu, Bekwara and Yala.
Represented by his Personal Assistant, Dr Steve Odey, Professor Ayade said the four-year study programme was aimed at equipping students intellectually and socially so as to contribute meaningfully to their respective communities.
He urged the beneficiaries to be committed to their studies and be good ambassadors of Cross River State and Nigeria while in Romania and the Philippines.
