Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole has stated that as of October 2025, Nigeria has received tariff relief of 3,000 products from the United Kingdom.
She made the disclosure in Abuja on Tuesday at the UK–Nigeria Trade Mission.
Oduwole acknowledged the significant milestone in Nigeria-UK bilateral relationship stating that “In October, the United Kingdom offered Nigeria tariff relief on almost 3,000 products under the Developing Countries.”
“This is a major opportunity for Nigerian exporters, particularly women-led businesses to scale production, reduce market-entry costs, and expand into one of the world’s most competitive markets,” she said.
