340 youths trained on job creation

The Katsina State Government has sponsored the training of 340 youths in its 2017 interswitch job creation scheme across the state.

Governor Aminu Masari revealed this during the flag-off of the scheme in Katsina, saying his administration had paid all the mandatory start-up funds for each of the beneficiaries to make the project a success.

The Senior Special Assistant on Youth (Women) Hajiya Bilkisu Jibrin Saulawa said the beneficiaries were selected under the umbrella of Nigerian Youth Chamber of Commerce (NYCC) . 

She said over 1,222 youths had been empowered in various ways in the last two years.
