The firm’s Managing Director Ben Langart, said at the graduation at NBC’s Ikeja plant, that standards of professionalism have been raised and required graduates to aspire higher.
The technical training centre was established in 1996 to build a future for young people and “find solutions to problems emanating from advances in technology arising from increased need for industrial automation and process control,” he said.
The trainings target students of technical schools and polytechnics because of the challenges of industrial automated operations, said the company’s head of technical training Tope Dada.
“Over the years, automation related problems account for significant amount of our production equipment performance loss.
“Therefore, the achievement of sound automation based knowledge in our bottling and processing companies continues to fuel our ambition, hence the continuous growth of our technical training facilities,” he said.
