The state INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Hussain Halilu Pai, disclosed this to Daily Trust while speaking on the rate of PVC collection in the state.
He said out of the 1,317,000 PVCs received by the commission in the state, 940,000 have been collected while 370,000 were yet to be collected.
The REC said the commission has achieved 71 percent PVC collection in the state with 29 percent yet to be collected by the owners.
Halilu said before the shifting of the election from February 14 to March 28, the commission achieved 61 percent collection but  was able to increase it to 71 percent, adding that before the deadline they would have achieved a higher percentage if not 100 percent.
He therefore urged the people of the state to use the extension period  to get their PVCs saying they are also available at the 239 wards in the state.
