Four persons reportedly injured after operatives of the FCT Police Command threw teargas and canisters to disperse natives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) who were protesting at the National Assembly to demand the reversal of the appointment of Mr Solomon Adodo, a native of Benue State, into the board of the newly established North Central Development Commission (NCDC).

Protesters, under the umbrella of the FCT Youth Stakeholders Forum, are demanding the appointment of an indigene of the FCT into the board.
