Vice chancellor of the Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri, Professor Adaobi Victoria Obasi, has said that about 40 persons were cleverly seeking admission into the institution without the requisite requirements.
Briefing journalists in her office at the weekend in Owerri, the vice chancellor said the affected persons were caught at the verge of using forged documents to secure admission.
Adaobi warned that the admission exercise was not for those who failed to score the required 180 points score as approved by the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) in post UTME. “Anybody who does not score 180 and above in the IMSU post-UTME will not be offered admission, no matter how highly placed,’’ she said.
