43-year-old Chidoka now Aviation Minister

President Goodluk Jonathan has named the former Corps Marshall of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) as Minister of Aviation.

The president, this morning, also named Dr Abubakar Olanrewaju Suleiman as Minister of National Planning.

The Senate had last week confirmed the nominations of Osita (from Anambra State) and Suleiman (Kwara).

The president congratulated the new ministers and urged them not to disappoint Nigerians who, according to him, are expecting much from them.

Jonathan said the new ministers have very rich antecedents which, he said, should be used to contribute to national development.

Earlier when the citation of the former FRSC Corps Marshall was being read, the audience appeared shocked to know that he was born in 1971.
