4m mosquito treated nets for distribution in Katsina

The state Commissioner for Health Mannir Talba who disclosed this during the inauguration of the distribution committee noted that the move is aimed at reducing malaria scourge in the state.
According to him, the nets are a collaboration of the state, federal ministry of health, SUN-Map and other donor agencies.
Each household is expected to get at least one, he added.
Talba said the committee shall among other things outline procedures of distribution, verify adequacy of the commodity, and monitor and supervise all planned activities with regards to pre and post implementations of the distribution.
