Nigerian models are pushing the boundaries of the industry in the country and are making a name for themselves on the international scene. Moyosoluwa Olorunsola profiles five female models who have stamped their names on the global stage.

Mayowa Nicholas

Mayowa Nicholas is a 21-year-old Nigerian model who was one of the finalists at the 2014 Elite Model Look contest. The five-footer She has worked with international brands such as Prada, Versace, Miu Miu, Chanel, Victoria Secret and Michael Kors among others. She is currently ranked as one of the top 50 models in the world by models.com.

Ayobami Okekunle

The 5ft 9inches tall Ayobami Okekunle, is signed to a Nigerian modelling agency, Few Models which is dedicated to building the industry. She has worked with international brands and is also signed to IMG London and Barcelona Francina Models. She was featured in the August 2018 issue of British Vogue UK.

Olamide Ogundele

Although Olamide Ogundele is signed with Few Models agency in Nigeria which is her mother agency, it has not stopped her from working with several international modellling agencies.
