2017 August didn’t just come with lot of rains,  for Kannywood movie lovers  it came with a good number of movies.

Here are five movies to watch out for this August.

 

Matata ce shaida:

This story is about a person accused of an offence who though innocent has no witness to exculpate him  from the alleged crime other than his wife which is very uncommon in the administration of justice.

Here Adam Zango featured prominently as an alleged criminal whose fate hangs on the wit of his wife Rahama Sadau his only witness.

 The question is will the law allow his wife to stand in for him or he would be left to rot behind bars innocently?

The film was produced by Muhammad Mia and Ali Gunzak as Director.

 

Karamci:

The theme of the film is woven around the attitudes of some parents in choosing spouses for their children.

Here the background and attitudinal disposition of the man are put on a scale to determine whether he could be allowed to marry the woman of his heart or not.  In this film Bello Mohammed Bello almost lost the woman after his own heart over alleged arrogance had the woman (Hafsat Idris) not loved him dearly. Hafsat’s insistence to marry him was premised on her belief that she can change her husband to her taste attitude wise.

 

Yar’ Duniya:

Yar Duniya is a story of an abandoned girl picked from an orphanage by a childless couple.

Hauwa Waraka grew up as the only child to the family enjoying all the privileges of a child in a wealthy family however later in life she indulged into some immoral attitudes that put her true identity on the balance.

The film featured Sadiq Sani Sadiq, Hauwa Waraka as well as Tijani Faraga and Hadiza Mohammed.

 

Mijin Yarinya:

This story is woven around the controversy charactering polygamous family set-up where young wives suffer all forms of scorn and disrespect from older children of the husbands.

In this film Aminu Momo looks down on his father’s wife because he is older than her.

 

Mansoor:

This is the latest Hausa movie produced by Ali Nuhu.

The film which projected Ali Nuhu further on the ladderr of fame was first projected in cinemas during Eid-el-fitr sallah celebration. 

The story depicts the challenges children born out of wedlock suffer in the society even though it was not their choice.
