He had been standing trial for alleged robbery that occurred in 2020 at Gyadi Gyadi Quarters in Tarauni LGA of Kano State.
Gyadi Gyadi was arraigned after his friend alleged that he forcefully snatched his phone when they were watching a film on it.
Delivering judgment, the presiding judge, Justice Ziwaira Yusuf, ruled that the prosecution failed to prove the allegations beyond a reasonable doubt and acquitted the suspect.
