About 500 people in Odigwetwe village in Ovia North East Local government of Edo State have benefited from free medical treatments including minor surgeries carried out by the Christian Medical and Dental Association Students of Nigeria (CMDAS), University of Benin (UNIBEN) Chapter last month.
Over 70 members of the association provided free treatments to hundreds of patients in the village for three days.
Secretary of the association Harry Ogodo said the annual exercise was meant to improve the healthcare of rural dwellers through awareness campaigns.
