The event which will take place at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, will feature schools students from Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Edo, Delta, Anambra, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers, Lagos and Kaduna States including the Federal Capital Territory.

According to the Chairman Ebosi Memorial Foundation Trustee, Dapo Elias, the event will hold between October 22 and 23 and will be dedicated to the memory of Late Dr. E.I Ebosie, a lover of swimming during his life time.

He said the organizer of the event decided to stage the event with the aim of discovering hidden talents among school students and nurturing them to stardom.

Also speaking, coordinator of the swimming competition, Captain Sam Phil Ebosie, promised that the foundation will do everything possible to ensure that government alone is not left in the task of developing swimming in the country.

He called on philanthropists and other sports-loving Nigerians to assist the government to develop Nigerian youth through sports.
